In the fifth session of the series of ROBO TALKS sessions, which was held on Wednesday, December 7, the field of self-driving cars was discussed in the presence of Dr. Ali Parsa, the founder, and director of the Autonomous Vehicles Research Institute of the University of Tehran (Cheetah).
In this webinar organized by the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Robotics Scientific Association, Dr. Parsa discussed what, why and how intelligent and self-driving cars are. In this webinar, technical definitions, applications, various technical components, and challenges of intelligent cars were discussed, as well as familiarization with how self-driving cars work.
At the end of the session, Dr. Parsa answered the questions of the students and those interested.
Along with its research, practical and technical activities, Cheetah Research Center promotes knowledge related to technology, especially the modern technology of intelligent and self-driving cars, and this student webinar was held in collaboration with Cheetah in order to introduce students with this field.
